Took a looser approach with the production of this one and I like it better than the Bad Master LP which was recorded at the same time. For the most part it's just bass, drums and guitar. Started using brushes exclusively on drums.

I like Mean Melody to this day, kind of like angry folk, sort of a slower Violent Femmes vibe.
